Master Zhang Zhao Xun
Master Zhang has devoted his life to the study of the martial arts. His training began at age six when he began learning an ancient form of Wu Shu developed and refined by Master Zhang’s ancestors. This martial art, Kuen Luen Quan, has recently been declared an officially recognized martial art by China's National Wu Shu Research Institute.
Although a national and international champion in Wu Shu, Master Zhang’s focus became the internal arts at an early age. He is a 19th-generation master of Chen style Tai Chi Chuan, a 4th-generation master of Bagua Zhang, and, most significantly, a 2nd-generation master of Hun Yuan T'ai Chi Chuan. It is the Hun Yuan version of Chen Style T'ai Chi that Master Zhang teaches in Connecticut.
